  2.   In order to fit all of the graphic files on this disk thay are
  3.   compressed in a self-extracting form. To use, copy to a larger
  4.   disk (1.2meg, 1.44meg, or a Harddisk) and Enter PLATES.
  5.   The PCX files will expand and then be usable.

  10.     The PCX graphics in this collection were scanned from
  11.     old Bookplates (Public Domain) that I searched for in
  12.     Libraries and private collections.
  13.  
  14.     Book collectors like to personalize the books in their
  15.     library with their own labels.  Up to NOW if you wanted your
  16.     own Plate you had few choices, you could carve your own or
  17.     have someone else make one for you!
  18.  
  19.     The Plates in this collection can easily customized with
  20.     many Paint Programs available for the PC that use the PCX
  21.     format.  The Plates can be printed on plain paper and pasted
  22.     into your book or (my method) you can customize your Plate,
  23.     save in the PCX format, then print it with a program like
  24.     Labels Unlimited from Power Up!  The self-stick labels are
  25.     a "class" addition to any library.

  27.     The graphics in this collection can be used in many other
  28.     ways, limited only by your imagination...
